In order to implement the Comprehensive Plan to Restore Economic Growth by the End of 2020.

         On July 2 of this year, the President of the country, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, signed the Law on an additional tax amnesty for individuals to write off penalties.

        Each citizen can take advantage of this promotion by the end of the current year to write off accrued penalties. In this case, the penalty is deducted from the tax in which the arrears were paid.

          The only condition is that you must pay the principal amount of tax debt for previous years.

          As of November 20, 2020, in the Karaganda region, 50 604 taxpayers have already managed to take advantage of the tax amnesty opportunities. Debts in the amount of 605,519,656 tenge were repaid, while the penalty was written off in the amount of 63,371,623 tenge.

         The state revenue authorities daily monitor the state of personal accounts and, when the principal is paid, no later than three working days, make a decision to write off the penalty.

        You do not need to go anywhere to write off penalties. It is enough to pay the principal amount of the debt. Penalty interest will be debited automatically.

        The amount of debt can be found on the website of the State Revenue Committee: kgd.gov.kz or on the e-Government portal: e-gov.kz. The tax amnesty is due until December 31, 2020.

        Please note that the tax on vehicles from individuals for 2020 must be paid no later than December 31, 2020. Individuals pay tax at their place of residence.
